WE ARE POP HOSTELS!
It feels like there have been many announcements in the past few days; and, we have to admit, we couldn’t be more excited about this one. If you have been following our Instagram stories you might be wondering if this is about a new Astor Hostel opening up in good old Wetwang; we’re sorry to disappoint you, but that’s not what’s happening (not yet anyway! LOL).
We won’t keep you waiting any longer. In the last few months we have united forces with our friends at Hans Brinker (Amsterdam & Lisbon), Amstel House (Berlin) and The Yellow (Rome) to create a whole new concept: POP Hostels!
And what is POP Hostels, you might be asking yourself? POP Hostels is a breath of fresh air for likeminded travellers. It’s no fancy new hostel chain, but a growing collective of independent hostels with soul, charm and a passion for giving travellers a legendary local experience. Consider POP your best friend away from home. The one who introduces you to all the great places, new tastes and adventures only known to locals.
Needless to say, there are many other perks for those who travel within the POP hostels network other than being cooler than your average tourist: 10% discount for bookings made via the hostels own website, wristband for 15% discount at the bar for POP guests, special promotions and give-aways, access to exclusive city guide content etc.
We’ll be officially launching this weekend at the Berlin Travel Festival where our Managing Director Alex Rivers (aka Thee Boss of Astor Hostels) will be presenting POP Hostels to the public and sharing his views on the past, present and future of the hostel industry.
