Top 6 Cafes Around Holborn
Get your caffeine fix without travelling too far!
We have collated some of our favourite independent coffee shops near our Astor Museum Hostel for you to try and enjoy during your stay with us.
London Review Bookshop
The lovely little London Review Bookshop Cafe is around the corner from our hostel. Named one of the UK’s best bookshop cafes by National Geographic, it’s definitely one to visit. Run by a group of strong females, the cafe has some lovely vegan food and cake options and strong coffee that will get your day started. Each day they have different cakes on offer. Still, we highly recommend the orange and almond cake when available (chef’s kiss!). Once you’ve enjoyed your coffee and cake, look in the bookstore, where you can browse more than 20,000 titles, ranging from contemporary fiction to current affairs.
Cafe de Provence
There is nothing better than being greeted and welcomed like an old friend. That’s what makes Cafe de Provence so unique. The beautifully decorated cafe serves up tasty, affordable coffee while making you feel at home. Even Justin Bieber has visited this cafe (if that’s not a reason to visit it, we don’t know what is!).
