London Markets: Brick Lane

Of all the London Markets Brick Lane is definitely one of our favourites, it was formally just a trail of random bric-a-brac laid out on the street and a smattering of fruit stalls, in what was the slums of London, have now in recent times transformed (as too has most of East London) into one of the most popular, edgy and artistic places in town.

Brick Lane Market is absolutely an art lovers heaven, so if are into vintage second hand clothes, antiques, street art and graffiti then this is a must for you. Situated on the streets of Brick Lane, this Sunday market has over two hundred stalls and sells a variety of products including vintage and handmade clothing, handmade jewellery, music, arts and crafts, antiques, and amazing street food from all corners of the globe.

The market is a bustling artistic hub, and has street performers there to enhance the already vibrant and buzzing atmosphere, so this needs to be on your London to do list!

Not here on a Sunday? Never fear! Brick Lane is world famous for its street art and is covered with quirky shops, record stores and trendy cafes and bars that are open every day so it is worth a visit any day of the week!
