Planning to travel to London with friends? Looking to go out and have fun? Then you are reading the right post! London is well-known for being a huge city with lots of things to see and visit, and also for its variety of quirky places to go out; especially at night. This is the reason why it is very difficult to get bored or do not know where to go out in this amazing city. Here are some unique and fun recommendations for a night out in London.

 1. Bar Kick – Foosball – Shoreditch

Bar Kick opened its doors in 2001 in the neighborhood of Shoreditch. It has an old-fashioned feel to it that bursts with character, completed with French football tables which are the main attraction. There are also 60 and 80-inch TVs on each floor where to watch live sports and games while enjoying some drinks and food. It is a spacious bar decorated with flags and memorabilia. Daily happy hour is between 4- 7 pm and the kitchen is open all day during the weekends.

So, thinking about checking out Bar Kick?

2. The Four Thieves Pub – Arcade Games – Southern London

This pub is the perfect place for travelling back in time to your childhood days. How about car racing with remote-controls? Or playing retro arcade games? Did someone say virtual reality games? Mini golf, pool, table tennis? You and a group of friends trying to get out of an escape room? These and many others are some of the activities you can enjoy at The Four Thieves.

Hungry? The food menu has plenty of mouth-watering options; whether you are a sports fan or just keen to try the food… you will want to keep returning to this place!

Every Wednesday their boathouse opens its doors for live comedy shows with Laugh Train Home, bringing the best comedians from around the UK and overseas. But if the games and comedy are not enough, Four Thieves also has daily events – YES, EVERY DAY!

Tables can also be booked in advance, which is especially ideal for large groups.

3. Flight Club – Darts – Bloomsbury

The first rule of Flight Club is you do not talk about Flight Club… The second rule of Flight Club is to tell all your friends… because this place is too hard to keep quiet about. Here you can play darts and break hearts in groups ranging from 2 – 39 people.

Flight Club celebrates fizz hour every day from 5-7 pm and if day drinking is more your thing. You get a free bottle of prosecco when you book a table of 6 people or more between 12-3 pm – Yes, please! But I know what you’re thinking… how about some tasty snacks to go with those bubbles? Flight Club have you covered with sliders, pizza paddles, fries and share plates. The best part? You can eat while you play. Winning!

  4. The Grapes – Pub Quiz – Limehouse

Frequented by Charles Dickens himself and featured in his novel, ‘ Our Mutual Friend’, The Grapes is one of the oldest bars in London.

The venue is nearly 500 years old and extremely versatile – whether you’re after a romantic dinner by The Thames, a casual pub feed or just a quiet pint or two, The Grapes is a go-to crowd favourite. They also run pub quizzes every Monday night at 8pm. Entry is £1.50 and your team could be the winners of a £50 bar tab! Why not give it a try?

5. The Bat and Ball – Ping Pong – Stratford

Known as “East London’s table tennis temple”, The Bat and Ball is a fun and alternative venue for a day or night out located in Stratford. The venue sports 10 championship-sized ping pong tables distributed across two large floors. If playing ping pong like a pro didn’t already have you sold, they also have pizzas, cocktails, craft beers and last but not least, KA-RA-O-KE!

They also have happy hour on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4-8 pm with 2 cocktails for £12 or 2 craft cans for £9. Hit me with your best shot!
