Coming into the summer heat, London really comes alive with so many wonderful outdoor activities to enjoy! Here is our top suggestion on what to do white the summer lasts.

Outdoor Cinema

The cinema is great! But no one wants to be stuck in the cinema during the hot sunny days of Summer. Why not spend your evening watching your favourite film while seeing London’s skyline.

Rooftop Film Club: With three venues in London – Peckham – Bussey Building, Shoreditch – Queen of Hoxton and Stratford- Roof East; Rooftop film Club offers you the ULTIMATE FILM EXPERIENCE, offering classics, new released or family movies with the best views in London.

Prices start at £13.35, but you can top up your sesh with bottomless popcorn and/or a glass of prosecco for an extra. To really take advantage of the full experience, you can enjoy the Rooftop Bar that serves drinks up until 11pm.

Non touristy London Markets

Obviously, markets are some of the most popular activities that tourist do when visiting London but they are even better when you do them in delicious weather! Some which are our personal favorites and not as known as the heavy hitters are:

Columbia Road Flower Market –  Beautiful flower market every Sunday, really a sight to see. The very best part about this market is that it is only local owners so you are supporting the community by buying some beautiful flowers.

Netil Market – So pretty much the little sister of the famous Broadway market. Full of edgy and cute little food trucks and many many cocktails to taste away!

Canopy market – Our last hidden gem is for those who want to feel the heat but not necessarily be under the blaring sun. Located by King’s Cross station this market is full of some the most delicious cheeses you’ll ever try aswell as little tapas type food stalls from across the world… a real MUST!

Festival  Vibes

From the world-renowned Elrow Town (17th August) to family type festivals, every location has something happening. Our biggest tip for any festival goer is to buy tickets in advance because they can get quite expensive and CHECK the weather beforehand. London is notorious for having very very muddy wet festivals, always fun but go with caution!

Enjoy the heat and everything up for grabs just always remember to drink plenty of water and try to book things in advance… saves lots of pennies most of the time!
